Relax in one of our 23 beautifully appointed guest rooms, each with its own story. Spread between the 1649 homestead and the 1795 Carriage House, every space features period details like original millwork and exposed beams, alongside modern conveniences, like private ensuite baths and individual climate controls. A friendly reminder that many of our rooms are located on the second and third floors and accessible only by authentic, old-world staircase.

A Cornerstone of Durham, NH History

This 1649 Homestead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1997 became Three Chimneys Inn. The building which houses the ffrost Sawyer Tavern is the oldest house in Durham and one of the oldest buildings in New Hampshire.
